About Boursepad
Boursepad is an EdTech nonprofit platform that connects underserved students from Africa with sponsors who fund their education, from tuition to books to exam fees. Our mission is to prevent school dropouts by making it easy, transparent, and impactful for sponsors to support students in need.
Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented volunteer UI/UX Designer to help redesign the user interface for our payment gateway and dashboard experience. This role is perfect for someone passionate about education, digital inclusion, and intuitive design. You will play a critical role in improving how sponsors interact with our platform to fund students.
What you will do
Collaborate with the Boursepad team to understand payment flow requirements.
Collaborate with the Boursepad team to understand the Dashboard requirements.
Redesign the UI of the payment gateway using Figma, ensuring usability, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
Redesign the UI of the dashboard UI using Figma, ensuring usability, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
Create user flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups.
Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and iterate on designs.
Ensure brand consistency with Boursepad’s visual identity.
Provide design handoff specifications for development.
Our tech stack
Proficiency in Figma and UI/UX design principles.
Portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects.
Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
A passion for social impact, education, or nonprofit technology is a plus.
