Volunteer UI/UX Designer
BoursePad is an innovative EdTech platform on a mission to provide educational access to students in need. By connecting students with sponsors, we ensure that more students in Africa can stay in school and pursue their dreams. We’re expanding and need a passionate and skilled Front-End Mobile Developer to help bring our mobile experience to life. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a transformative platform while gaining valuable experience in mobile app development.
Role Overview:
As a Front-End Mobile Developer at BoursePad, you will be responsible for building and enhancing the mobile app user interface, ensuring it is intuitive, responsive, and accessible to all users. You will collaborate closely with our design and product teams to create a seamless and engaging experience for students and sponsors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about mobile development, user-centered design, and making a positive social impact.
What you will do
Collaborate with the Boursepad team to understand payment flow requirements.
Collaborate with the Boursepad team to understand the Dashboard requirements.
Redesign the UI of the payment gateway using Figma, ensuring usability, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
Redesign the UI of the dashboard UI using Figma, ensuring usability, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
Create user flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups.
Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and iterate on designs.
Ensure brand consistency with Boursepad’s visual identity.
Provide design handoff specifications for development.
Our tech stack
Proficiency in Figma and UI/UX design principles.
Portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects.
Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
A passion for social impact, education, or nonprofit technology is a plus.
